On May 12th, Trafalgar Castle School held its 3rd annual Hearth Place Fun Fair. Trafalgar’s ACT club hosted 17 children, ages 5-13 from Hearth Place Cancer Support Centre at the Castle for an evening of activities and fun.

This year’s theme was Princesses and Superheroes. The kids participated in cape and crown making, a costume photo booth, rock painting, mini sticks hockey, freeze dance, cupcake decorating, a pizza party and a tour of the Castle. The evening was particularly special for many of these children who are currently undergoing cancer treatment.

All of the Trafalgar girls who participated thoroughly enjoyed interacting with the 17 incredible cancer warriors and were inspired by their strength and resiliency. Congratulations to Trafalgar’s ACT Club who participated in an evening full of hope and friendships.
